Meet Kaylee Rudd, LMFT
Hi, I’m Kaylee Rudd, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Lilac Bloom Therapy. I strongly believe my clients are the experts in their own lives, and my job is to provide a therapeutic space that fosters safety, curiosity, and support as you work to improve your relationship with yourself, the important people in your life, and the world around you.
When it comes to a successful therapy experience, the two most important elements are how much you like your therapist and how much effort you put into therapy—both in and out of sessions. I want to make therapy affirming and safe for everyone. As a clinician I want to normalize and validate the human experience. Sometimes that looks like using humor, sometimes it looks like me holding space for your pain. My approach isn’t one-size fits all: it matters to me that your course of treatment fits your needs and personality. We’ll work together to make sure that you are getting the help you need.
I have experience working with a wide array of populations and presentations. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ folks, faith concerns, and trauma.
Outside of practicing therapy, you can find me reading a book, taking a yoga class, or spending time outside.

My program focused on ethically integrating faith and spirituality into the therapeutic space. I am happy to bring these topics into your therapy, if desired. Because of my training and therapeutic philosophy, I am keenly aware of oppression, privilege, racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ableism, sizeism, and ageism in our lives.

I have a strong interest in research and evidenced-based practices. Additionally, I have a strong understanding of the Latter-day Saint faith tradition, its practices, culture, and doctrine.

I have additional trainings in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems. These modalities all support processing traumatic events, chronic mental health concerns, and physiological regulation. If you are interested in these modalities, or how they may be utilized in the course of your care, please ask in our consultation call or at any point in your course of treatment.
